"Guten Morgen Berlin. Du kannst so hässlich sein. So dreckig und grau..."I couldn’t agree more on this rainy Monday morning in Berlin. I always feel a bit like I don’t quite fit the 'hip' vibe of the city. On the other hand, you do see more natural faces here than in 'Drizzledorf'—but who am I to judge, with my fake nails and never leaving the house without getting done up. Anyway, I’m here to learn.I am continuing my Yoga Therapy (Svastha) Training continuing with Module 4 which deals withthe anatomy of the human brain, aging, the process of digestion and the basics of Ayurveda.𝐌𝐲 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 (𝐃𝐚𝐲 1):𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬:·Quality sleep is essential for allowing our brain cells to regenerate and function optimally.·Practicing inversions, such as headstands or shoulder stand support regenerate the nervous system by stimulating circulation, improving blood flow to the brain, and promoting balance in the autonomic nervous system.·Rest and relaxation (no explanation needed :-)).·Cultivating qualities such as compassion, generosity, gratitude, joy, authenticity, curiosity, creativity, equanimity, mindfulness and focus are increasingly confirmed by neuroscience to have positive impact on our nervous system.#wellbeing #training #development #health #happiness

Harmony of body, mind and vital energy is an essential concept that reflects the perfect balance between these three interdependent elements for total well-being. As in a musical chord which requires the perfect union of three distinct notes to produce a pleasant melody, so this harmony is necessary for a balanced life. The physical body is comparable to the fundamental note. It provides structure, form and expression to our lives 🚴♀️🍎🏋️. Nourishing the body with a healthy diet, maintaining regular physical activity, and getting enough rest contribute to its harmony.Vital energy, or the etheric body, is the second note of the chord. It represents the invisible life force that animates our physical body🔥🍃⚡️. Qi in traditional Chinese medicine and Prana in Ayurveda symbolize this energy. To balance this energy, practices like yoga, meditation, acupuncture or reiki are recommended. The mind, representing the third note, is our consciousness, our ability to understand, learn, feel, think, and create our reality 👓🧠📚. A healthy mind can be maintained through continuous learning, meditation, and maintaining a positive attitude.Research in disciplines like psychoneuroimmunology has demonstrated connections between the body and mind, highlighting that the balance between these three 'notes' is crucial to our overall health (Reference: "The Balance Within: The Science Connecting Health and Emotions" by Esther M. Sternberg). Thus, by harmonizing our body, our vital energy and our mind, we can create a melody that resonates in complete serenity and guides us towards a state of total well-being 🧘♀️💫🔮.#Harmony#BodySpirit#VitalMentalBody#Balance#bodyhacking#bodyhacker#NeuEra🎵🌈👌🌟🦋🎉🙌🔐🌻🌙

🗣️A client said to me this week that they don’t like exercising. I heard them and said, “Is it possible that you haven’t found a movement that you like?”🤷🏻♀️ 📣 Ayurveda will remind you one size doesn’t fit all. We are individuals, and we need customized everything!! 🏃🏻♀️ Don’t sign up for that 5K just because your colleague at work did. 🧘🏻♀️ Don’t show up to Ashtanga Yoga because that’s the trend. 🫶🏼Try different activities and ask yourself what brings you joy🤗 📌Regular aerobic exercise can reduce anxiety by making your brain’s “fight or flight” system less reactive. 📌Movement can lower chronic inflammation and depressive symptoms. 📌It releases happy hormones.📌 Apart from nurturing your mental health, if weight loss is a goal for you, movement can truly help💥 📌It’s a great way to connect with self and others (if you take a class or do a group activity).🦋Everyone is busy, but can you take out 25 minutes in your day for YOU to add life to your life, no? Shake away the stress, angst, frustration, lethargy, and emotional heaviness?✋ We are better parents, partners, bosses, employees, coaches, friends, humans etc. when we take care of ourselves❤️🩹🪷What’s your favorite form of movement?🪷#movementismedicine #ayurvedadoctor #mentalhealthtips #nervoussystemregulation
