Truly a Christian man. Never talked much.,however, he was
A dedicated man in lawEnforcemt.
When I very first met him in the
Conway P.D. He shook my hand
With his other hand drawn back as though he was going to punch me.
Then a big grin came across his face.lol.

I first met Arch 45 years ago after moving to Conway to go to college. He was working security for McDonald’s where I was working at the time. He made a big impression on me then because he was a super nice person who cared about everyone and he was always so professional.

I have always been proud of these five brothers—my cousins who have served in many areas of community—firefighters, police, EMTs, Army Reserves, etc. I don’t ever remember when Jr. was not an officer! And Jr , I’m not upset with you anymore for ratting me out to Daddy-it was just a high school senior thing. You will be missed —tell the rest of the family we love them!

He once gave me my only traffic ticket I ever received. Years later I worked for and with Arch Bradley at the Conway Police Department for many years until his retirement. He served as Interim Chief for the department and as such he was one of the best Chief's this city has had in my time.
He was as honest a police officer as had ever wore the badge. A man I can truly say I respected.

Arch has been a friend of mine since we moved to Conway in 1970, I was 9 years old when we met and he made a great role model for all of the kids that would listen to him a help shape them in life. My mom worked as a waitress at clawsons truck stop and she would serve and she serve all of the law officers that came in, he told me that I was his little brother and that he would be watching out for me. i am greatfull for having his eye on me and for his guidance in life. We have lost a 1 of a kind icon for sure but he will live on thru all of freinds and family that remain. See you later big brother.

Where do I start There’s not enough adjectives to describe Arch Bradley. Every law enforcement officer can take a lesson on compassion from the example set by Arch. He was a common sense enforcer because he understood that not everything is strictly black or white and requires some judgment. There’s very few people who have the kindness and compassion that Arch displayed. During the few years I spent with Arch at CPD, he counseled me, Lord knows I needed it, and he always had the right words of encouragement. This world has lost a very good man but his example will live on in those whose lives he touched. RIP Arch until we meet again.

Arch was more than a friend, co-worker, and mentor. He was one of very few that I attempted to emulate as I navigated not only my career, but life in general. He listened to my concerns and always provided top-shelf, and heart-felt guidance. I will miss him tremendously, but know that I will see him again one day. Save me a chair, Sir.

Arch was a great officer and a good man. He was a friend to all the kids that bowled and skated back in the day. I remembered when my dad passed away he would come to the house and take us kids to town once in a while to buy groceries. He helped a lot of kids back then.
